Well we should have known it was to good to be true. So far this entire event has come flowing together nicely but today we encountered our first bump in the road. More like a ditch than a bump actually. But we’re going to lumber past it anyway with a shuffle and drag.

Our original location for starting the Walk, Memorial Park Elementary School has denied our request to use their parking lot for the event. This is VERY unfortunate for multiple reasons. 1, it’s written on all of the posters and flyers. 2, the parking lot is big enough to handle the unknown number of participants regardless of how many or few there are. And 3, our walking route has to change. But fear not, we will over come. As we all know, nothing can stop the infection from spreading. Not even a change in venue.

We are now discussing alternative parking and collection spots that will be able to give everyone a nice place to park and congregate prior to the walk. We will write more about this again as soon as we hear back from the Village or find another acceptable alternative.

Do not dismay, the walk will go on!
